Challenge
We love to see a local business thriving. Due to its rapid growth, G&W Engineering Corporation needed more office space. Our client spotted the opportunity to expand into an adjacent tenant space as a perfect opportunity to not only double the size of its headquarters location, but also renovate its existing space for a cohesive finished environment. An added wrinkle: maintaining business operations during construction was critical to the project.
Solution
To ensure G&W could maintain business as usual while construction took place, we implemented a phasing plan for the renovation work. Daily communication with the office manager and office staff allowed for seamless transitions from phase to phase, keeping productivity high for their employees while transforming the space around them into a new, state-of-the-art headquarters.
Renovations included additional workstations, a new reception area and larger conference room, new restrooms and new breakroom spaces. We used an open book approach for all project costs, giving our client transparency on project costs and keeping change orders to a minimum. All while allowing G&W’s workers to continue doing their thing.
