Orion Genomics does ground-breaking biotechnology research. But their existing space couldn’t keep up with their ambitions—with scattered offices and outdated labs that were no longer meeting their programmatic and technology needs. So how could we bring scientists and engineers together in the same space for better collaboration? After some research, they realized they’d need a new, innovative environment for research.
The new space encourages collaboration, supports modern technology needs and gives Orion Genomics plenty of flexibility for current and future requirements.
Our construction team worked closely with specialized lab and workplace designer to deliver a modern, central office and lab space for all employees. The new 10,000 square foot space includes 4,000 square feet of open lab space for agriculture research and clinical testing. An upgraded data infrastructure and new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems support modern clinical and research equipment. Now, scientists and engineers can work together in a collaborative, modern environment built for growth.
