Challenge
Long-standing client Tin Roof sought to expand into Raleigh, North Carolina and asked us to help them convert existing office spaces into a full bar/restaurant. The complicating factors? A workforce crunch due to a recent hurricane that battered the North Carolina coast, a busy local market and the need to replace the roof of the existing structure to accommodate increased occupancy requirements.
Solution
The completed Tin Roof Raleigh features a new rooftop patio and bar, full commercial kitchen in the basement, and a large bar and dance area on the first floor. Each area gives a local feel, rooted in its location at the heart of one of Raleigh’s entertainment and nightlife districts. It’s also one of the first locations to offer live music and a DJ five to seven nights a week. Brand standard items include concrete bar tops, a signature main bar, elevated stage and DJ booth areas.
We also assisted with the rezoning of the property to restaurant/bar use, requiring several meetings and consultations with local consultants and city officials.
