Challenge
How do you take a 24,000-square-feet Mid Century Modern building that’s been vacant for a decade and convert it into a mix of commercial and residential units? By respecting its original architectural elements and prioritizing function.
Solution
We worked with Eagle Bank to convert the three-story 1957 building to into 6,000 square-feet of commercial office space on the first floor, with sixteen market rate residential apartment units situated above on floors two and three. Completed in November 2015, we worked closely with the architecture and design team to reflect the building’s original style. Restoring, renovating and winning the Most Enhanced Award from the Landmarks Association of St. Louis.
